She was predeceased by: her parents, Patick Thigpen and Juia Mae Bland Thigpen; her spouse Jesse Winborne; and her siblings, Rebecca Thigpen Speir, Carl Thigpen, Sr., Thomas Thigpen and David Thigpen. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, many unofficial nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Norton Funeral Home of Hartsville (1414 W Carolina Ave, Hartsville, SC 29550).
