He was predeceased by: his parents, John LaCoste Brown and Maude Brigman Brown; his brother Donald W. Brown; and his brother-in-law Julian Bowen. He is survived by: his son Coy L. Brown (Lorelie) of Charleston, SC; his sister Doris Bowen; and his grandchildren, Drew L. Brown (Alexis), Emma M. Dukes (Jacob) and Reagan E. Green (Garrison).
