He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Roary and Stella Mae Gaskiris Roary of Lee County; and his sisters, Ella Roary, Willie Rembert and Jessie Fullard.

He is survived by: his brothers, Daniel and W. T.; his wife Sis; his children, Shalitha Hickmon, Cedric of Bishopville, Terrance Harris of Bishopville, Chantel Frierson (Georgy), Latwila Felder (Tony) and Latisha (Shontrell); his siblings, Eugene, Theresa Roary of Baltimore, MD, Mamie Adams (John), Halley Stukes and Bertha Cooley (John); and his mother-in-law Sis.
