He was predeceased by: his parents, Alston Odom and Eva Knotts Odom of John's High School; and his siblings, Hubert Odom, Margie Dennis, Weldon Odom, Myrna Asaro, Bobby Odom and Barry Odom.

He is survived by: his daughter Susan Weesner (William) of Darlington; his grandson Jacob Weesner of Hopkins; his brothers, Danny Odom of Latta and Dusty Odom of Darlington; and his former wife Barbara Jordan Odom. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and their children.
