He was predeceased by: his parents, Dawson Brown and Mary Polk Brown; his wife Lyndal Brown; and his sons, Christopher, Wendell and Steve Brown.
He is survived by: his sons, Ricky Brown (Teresa) of Fort Lawn and Rodney Brown (Rod) of Hartsville.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Forest Hills Independent Baptist Church (317 Frst Hl Rd, Hartsville, SC 29550). A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, August 17th 2025 at the Magnolia Cemetery (140 S Cedar Ln, Hartsville, SC 29550).
