Najmah McDaniel Obituary
Najmah S. McDaniel, daughter of Theresa Ann Johnson and George Lee Bristow, was born January 25, 1988, in Hartsville, South Carolina. She departed this life on Saturday, July 18, 2020.
Najmah's early years of education were spent in Darlington County. She later graduated from Bishopville High School.
As a single mom dedicated to her children, Najmah worked various jobs to take care of them. She just recently returned to work at McLeod Hospital in Florence, South Carolina.
Starting at an early age, Najmah joined and attended her family church, Centerville African Methodist Episcopal Church in Hartsville, South Carolina.
Najmah was a free spirit, full of love and happiness. She was a daughter, a sister, a mother, an aunt, and a friend and proud of every title she had. Helping any and everyone in her path who needed it, she worked hard and played even harder. The backbone of her family, the life of the party, in short Najmah was……LOVE!
Najmah was preceded in death by her daughter, Lareshia Hampton; her sister, Sheimeka Prince; her grandparents, Mildred and Bennie McDaniel and John H., and Maggie Mack Bristow; her aunts, Sharon Squire and Dianne Bristow Blankly; and her uncles, Bennie McDaniel, Jr., Harold McDaniel, Tommy Patterson, Larry McDaniel, Chris McDaniel, Alphonso Bristow, Kenneth Bristow and James Albert Bristow.
Najmah leaves to cherish her fond memories, her mother, Theresa Ann Johnson of Hartsville, SC; her father, George Lee (Sherrika) Bristow of Smithfield, NC; her four beautiful children, Nareshia McDaniel, Jaylei Mack, Thereshaia Hampton and Cabareshia McPhail, all of the home; three brothers, Andre McDaniel of Hartsville, SC, and Justice Bristow and Elijah Bristow, both of North Carolina; eight sisters, Jasmine (Tamika) Ridges McCaskill of Charlotte, NC, Mary Brunson and Silicia Campbell of South Carolina, Tomika Kimble, Princess Bristow, Jayliah Bristow, Miracle Bristow and Charish Bristow, all of North Carolina; her best friend, Niesha Miller of South Carolina; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
