He was predeceased by: his grandson Caleb James; and his mother-in-law Gaynell Horton. He is survived by: his spouse Gail James; his children, Jessica Peavy (Brandon) and Bubba James; his grandchildren, Abby, Jaxon, Emily Kate and Cayden James; his sister-in-law Myra James; and his nephews, Marvin and Wesley Lambert.
