He was predeceased by: his parents, Medrick Joseph LaBelle and Dorothy Gustafson LaBelle; and his siblings, Harlan LaBelle, Jimmy LaBelle, Danny LaBelle and Linda Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Nancy LaBelle; his children, Ronda Denton (Joe), Richie LaBelle (Stephanie) and Rodney LaBelle (Tamara); his siblings, Gary LaBelle (Suzie) and Carol Hentz (Richard); his grandchildren, Johnathon Denton (Shandell), Jeffrey Denton (Alyssa), Carson Rector (Eli), Addison Dellinger (Dylan), Chase LaBelle, Haley Odenbrett (Peyton), Lauren LaBelle, Christina Reid (Brandon) and Courtney Lane; and his great grandchildren, Everly Denton, Rowan Denton, Iylah Denton, Turner Reid, Francie Reid, Sawyer Odenbrett and Knox Dellinger.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Lakeview Baptist Church (202 Lakeview Blvd, Hartsville, SC 29550). Visitation was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
