He is survived by: his wife Wanda Atkinson; his children, Bryce Atkinson (Kennedy), Taylor Atkinson and Ryan Atkinson (Christine); his grandchildren, Ryley Atkinson, Reagan Atkinson, Haylie Woody and Emma Lawhon; his siblings, Marie Timmons (Eddie) and Danny Freeman; and his close friends, Danny Oliver and Billy Smothers. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Norton Funeral Home and Crematory - Hartsville (1414 W Carolina Ave, Hartsville, SC 29550). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
