He was predeceased by: his parents, George Phillip Murray Jr. and Virginia Ruth Hale. He is survived by: his wife Jayne; his brothers, George III (Jane) and John (late Carol); his daughters, Jennifer (Jim), Julie (Scott) and Jessica (Ryan); and his grandchildren, Bryson, Avery, Davis, Hayden, Nolan and Josie.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made online to Stanley Park Baptist Church in Kitchener, Ontario, where his wife will be attending in the future.
