It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sherry Johnston Phillips (Hartsville, South Carolina), born in Georgetown, South Carolina, who passed away on April 28, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Whitesides Johnston and Leslie Dew Johnston. She is survived by: her daughter Celestial Phillips Wehmer (William); her husband Ed; her grandson Baxter Clyde Culler IV; her great grandchild Baxter Clyde Culler V.; and her brother Strom Thurmond Johnston (Beverly Johnston).

A private funeral will be held by the family with requests for prayers for those suffering from Alzheimer's.
