She is survived by: her granddaughters, Lauren Imani, Brittney Nia and Chanel Ilise; her daughters, Melanie C. Lynn (Wayne) of Okemos and Kimberly Carmichael of Columbia; her granddaughter Brittney Nia Lynn; and her siblings, Dorothy Overton (Lionel), Patrinola Horton and Eddie Bachus.
