Tyler will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Tyler by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Tyler is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Tyler’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Angela West Gardner and Dennis Laverne Gardner; his stepmother Tracy Gardner; his siblings, Corey Gardner (Maggie) and Charleigh Gardner; his stepsister Sarah Howle; and his nephew Lucas Gardner.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Norton Funeral Home (1414 W Carolina Ave, Hartsville, SC 29550). A graveside service was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Union Methodist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ City of Refuge, 1710 Long Branch Road, Hartsville, S.C. or Union Methodist Church, P.O. Box 522, McBee, S.C. 29101.
