She was predeceased by : her parents, Willie Blair Hoke, Sr. and Mae Bell Shehane Hoke; and her brother Willie Blair Hoke, Jr.. She is survived by : her husband James E. Mullis, Sr. of Heath Springs; her children, James E. Mullis, Jr. (Carolina) of Heath Springs, Claude Edwin Mullis (Sarah) of Heath Springs and Darla Mullis Willm of Surfside Beach, SC; her sisters, Myrtle Hoke Powell of Matthews, NC, Bernice Hoke Player of Heath Springs and Doris Hoke of Heath Springs; her grandchildren, Racquel, Cody, Trey, Kai, Kahealani, Allanah and Koa; and her great grandchild Ezra.

A reception was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Hope Baptist Church (2393 New Hope Rd, Heath Springs, SC 29058).
