He was predeceased by: his parents, Wister Tanner and Rhodie Cribb Tanner; and his granddaughter Kari Oliver. He is survived by: his children, Lil Tanner Kish (John) of Georgetown and Cale Marion Tanner (Robin) of Georgetown; his grandchildren, Tanner, Carley Martin, Jessica Weiland (Matt), Whitney Causey (Kenneth), Shelby Newton (Jamie) of Charles and Reid Tanner; his great grandchildren, Rory Weiland, Tara, Ana Martin, Hux, Pynner Leigh Causey, Renn, Bexley and Perri Anne Newton; and his siblings, Wilma Foxworth of Hemingway, Cinda Woodbury (Albert) of Hemingway, Samuel Eason Tanner (Millie) of Georgetown, Tom Tanner of Hemingway and Gene Tanner of Little River.
