He is survived by : his mother Vernel Matthews of Hemingway, SC; his children, Clifford Matthews III of Hemingway, SC, Akeem Flowers of Conway, SC, Tory Matthews of Hemingway, SC and Kynijah Hannah of Hemingway, SC; and his siblings, Tony Kerson (Dedra) of Sylvania, GA, Roosevelt Kerson (Gelin) of Hemingway, SC, Loretta Norman of Marion, SC, Angelina Matthews (Betty) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Althea Matthews of Lawton, OK, Heather Matthews (Torrance) of Hemingway, SC and Maggie Hannah of Hemingway, SC. He is also survived by grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
