He was predeceased by: his mother Louetta Jean Thompson Turner; his grandparents, Mack, Lillie Belle Parker and Johnny Roberts; and his aunt Wanda Thompson Poston.

He is survived by: his father Tracy Allen Parker (Chris); his children, Gregory Parker, Jr., Matthew Parker (Ornela), Tiffany Martin (Nigel) and Alexis Parker; his grandchildren, Jacelynn, Caden, Skylar, Lakelynn, Nickolas, Bailey and Gabriel; his grandmother Linda "Nanny" Hughes; his siblings, Talmadge Turner (Angel), Tina Capazzi (Kevin) and Jenny Powell (Steve); and his aunts and uncles, Michelle Powell, Mavis Riley (Bill), Judy Hodge, Shirley Baxley, Bruce Parker (Linda), Johnny Parker, Danny Parker (Ramona) and Andy Parker (Vernessa). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
