We are sad to announce that, on December 13, 2025, at the age of 91, Hassie Carlton Tompkins (Hemingway, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Tompkins and Agnes Elizabeth Russ Tompkins; and his siblings, Louise E. Tompkins, Cecil Tompkins, Thomas Brashell Tompkins, Ralph Tompkins and Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Tompkins.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Goude Tompkins; his children, Carl Tompkins and Beth Tompkins; his brother Danny L. Tompkins; and his sisters-in-law, Esther Ballard and Miriam Goude. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
