She was predeceased by: her husband James B. "Jimmy" Thompson, Jr.; her parents, Jessie Mull Powers and Erma Inez Williamson Powers; her brothers, John Henry Powers and Jessie Ronald Powers; and her siblings-in-law, Sherril Harrelson Powers, Gloria Thompson and Bud Stone.

She is survived by: her sons, Anthony Thompson (Tammy Moore) of Hemingway and Dusty Thompson (Heather) of Lake City; her grandchildren, Justin Thompson (Karla Jones), Austin Thompson (Alexies McVey) and Maelyn Thompson (Christian Williams); her brother Gerald Powers (Elaine) of Andrews; her siblings-in-law, Dixie Powers of Hemingway, Connie Stone of Hemingway, Cynthia Hucks (Ken) of Hemingway and Al Thompson of Hemingway; and her nephews, Greg Powers, Melton Powers (Mary Ann), Chris Powers and Gary Powers. She is also survived by nephews and nieces.
