It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merland L. Poston (Hemingway, South Carolina), born in Pamplico, South Carolina, who passed away on July 30, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Liston B. Poston and Ada Powell Poston; his son Merland Alvin Poston; and his grandson Capers Liston "Casey" Hutchinson. He is survived by: his wife Emma Dennis Poston; his children, Bruce Poston (Kathy), Terry Poston, Vicki Bass (John) and Ronald Poston (Beth); his daughter-in-law Ramona Poston; and his sisters, Shelby Kelly and Joan Watson. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren.
