He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Knox and Nelle Knox; his spouse Beverly; and his daughters, Brenda Griffin and Bronwyn McKenney.
He is survived by: his daughters, Breta Field (Mark) and Bridget Cline (Juanita Cantey); and his grandchildren, Kathy Cockfield (Jay), Karen Hooks and Al Cantey (Fran). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
