He is survived by: his wife Acquanette Williams-Lee of Hemingway, SC; his children, Gerald Holmes (Lisa) of Georgetown, SC and Kimberly Lee of Raleigh, NC; his stepdaughters, Keisha Williams of Columbia, SC and Shainna Williams of Florence, SC; his sisters, Rosa Lee McCray (Emmanuel) of Nesmith, SC, Betty Lee Davis of Hemingway, SC, Alvodia Morris (Robert) of Orangeburg, SC and Ida Johnson (James) of Atlanta, GA; his grandchildren, Vernard Holmes, Gerald Boyett Holmes, Sayvaughn Lee and Madison W. Whipple; his great grandchild Skylar Holmes; and his goddaughter Ceasia Morris. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
