He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Johnson and Pauline Johnson; and his siblings, Aurbia Lee Johnson, Leggette Johnson, Ricky Johnson, William Moses Johnson, Mary Taylor, Betty Young, Barbara Poston and Eva Powers.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Johnson; his children, Brook Marlowe (Noot) and Travis Johnson (Katelynn); his grandchildren, Lane Marlowe, Jaxon Marlowe, Trey Pring and Chanzely Johnson; his sister Vivian Ard; his brother-in-law Gary Fenters; his cousin Curtis Johnson; Amanda Owens and Chris Lewis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway (416 N Main St, Hemingway, SC 29554).
