It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virgilene C. Hanna (Hemingway, South Carolina), born in Georgetown, South Carolina, who passed away on October 12, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Fred Hanna, Sr. and Sulla Day Parsons Hanna. She is also survived by one aunt and several other cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, South Carolina Chapter, 4124 Clemson, Suite L., Anderson, SC 29621.
