She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Blue and Edna Elizabeth Conyers Tanner; her husband Vernon E. Port; her son Anthony Port (Margaret); her grandson Eric Pope; her siblings, Betty Mincey (David), Alonza Tanner (Pat) and Randolph Tanner (Alice); and her parents-in-law, Edna Cribb (Marvin), Linda Port, Julian Port (Miriam) and James Port.

She is survived by: her children, Vernon LaDain Port (Susan) and Trevada Granberg (Mike); her granddaughters, Daina Small (Sammy), Tara Russell (Jeff), Felicia Barr (Khris) and Carlette Young (Clay); and her siblings-in-law, R. L. Port and Mary Lou Port. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
