He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Mildred Ard Marsh and Clinton Marsh; his wife Elizabeth Thel Ray Marsh; his children, William "Cal" Marsh, Jr. (Beth) and Leslie Cox (Rustin); his grandchildren, Colbyn James Cox and Bryson Bo Cox; his sisters, Levette Lewis (Jimmy) and Vicki Tanner; his mother-in-law Mae Williams Ray; his siblings-in-law, Denny Ray (Daphne) and Regina Owens (Joey); his sister Helen Marsh; his father-in-law James Milton Ray; and his brothers-in-law, Dean Tanner and Charles Cagle. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
