He was predeceased by: his parents, George Wesley Hartzog and Dorothy Lyons Hartzog; his siblings, Pat Hartzog and Judy Wilson; his great-nephew Gary Cheek; and his parents-in-law, Ruben and Margaret Still.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Still Hartzog; his children, Kendall David Hartzog (Patti) and Stephanie Kristine Creech (Chad); his grandchildren, Emma Creech of Barnwell, Liam Creech of Barnwell, Braxton Youngblood of Barnwell, Sher Youngblood of Barnwell, Margo Hartzog of Barnwell and Toby Hartzog of Barnwell; his siblings, Wesley Hartzog and Sandra Fogle (James) of Hilda; and his siblings-in-law, Janice Hartzog, Vince, Linda Winegardner of Davidson and Skip Wilson of Chapin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
