He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Fogle and Gertie Smoak Fogle; his wife Louise Croft Owens Fogle; his son Clinton "BoBo" Owens; and his sister Elizabeth Ray.
He is survived by: his daughters, Trina Griffin (Dean) of Hilda and Shirley Owens of Bamberg; his sisters, Frances Martin (Rommie) and Vivian Hair (Gene); his grandchildren, Bart Owens (Stacy), Angelia Carson (Eddie), Rebecca Beish (Mike), Michael Kinard (Kimberly), Meredith Owens, Greg Black (Michelle), Kayla Hutto (Blake) and Savanna Griffin (Rodney Morris); his niece Angie Morris (Randy); and his nephew Timmy Williams (Brandy). He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren.
