Eric Peter Spector Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eric Peter Spector of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 1, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mathew P. Spector and Beverly A. Spector; and his wife Carolyn Keenan Spector. He is survived by: his siblings, Avis Rollison, Richard Larson, Ellie Hackett (Joseph) of Marshfield, MA and Scott Spector (Elizabeth) of Indian Trail, NC.; his siblings' children, Clayton Rollison (Kelly) of Bluffton, SC, Jake Rollison (Bridget) of Tampa, FL, Michelle Hackett (Bryan Parkin) of Framingham, MA, Frank Hackett (Sara) of Pottsboro, TX and Nicholas Spector of Indian Trail, NC.; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kennedy, Bridget, Gradyn, Wyatt, Greyson, Reagan, Maeve, Wesley and Owen.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to The David M. Carmines Memorial Foundation, a nonprofit organization supporting local charities that benefit the Lowcountry's culinary community — a community Eric proudly contributed to for decades.
