It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hilbert Douglas Dahl of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, born in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 17, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilbert Greiner and Melissa Jones Dahl; his sister Melissa; and his son Michael Hallman Dahl. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Hallman Dahl; his children, James Douglas Dahl (Denise Cook), Melynda Kristine Dahl and Hilbert Gregory Dahl; his siblings, Richard Dahl (Janet), Carol Dahl Smith and Doris Dahl; and his grandchildren, Jacob, Emma, Grace and Lauren.

Memorial donations may be made to the Prostate Cancer Foundation in Doug's honor.
