It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jakie H. Lee of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, who passed away on August 5, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire his loved ones, keeping Jakie's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edith Lee and Hoyt Lee. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Lee (Beth); his daughters, Marissa Swartz (Jim) and Laurie Lee; his stepdaughter Elizabeth Hill (Whit); his daughter Katie; his stepson Christian Winters (Jordan); and his daughters, Merrick and Bryn.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (540 William Hilton Pkwy, Hilton Head Island, SC 29928).
