She was predeceased by: her spouse J. Thornwell Meyer III; and her parents, Donald Horton and Florence Horton. She is survived by: her children, Marcy Todd Whitaker (Charles) of Atlanta, Georgia, Steven D. Meyer of Indianapolis, IN, James V. Meyer (Naima) of Stockholm and Jason L. Meyer of Beaufort, SC. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
