He was predeceased by: his parents, Diedrich Schulz and Adele Schulz. He is survived by: his wife Barbara of Hilton Head, SC; his sister Erika Eckel (Bill) of Winston-Salem, NC; his sons, Andrew (Melissa) of Bluffton, SC and Eric (Amy) of Spartanburg, SC; and his grandchildren, Adam of Athens, OH, Emily of Spartanburg, SC and Evan of Columbus, OH..
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Island Lutheran Church (4400 Main St, Hilton Head Island, SC 29926).
