Robert leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Robert’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Robert will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, William Bernard Allen and Geraldine Pellegrino; his daughter Holly Ann Pologruto (Frank); and his wife Betty. He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Dellechiaie, Karen Louise DeVito (Anthony), Laura Allen-Gale, Robert Jr. (Diane) and Mary Elizabeth Egan (Thomas).
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:15 AM at the Church of the Presentation (271 W Saddle River Rd, Upper Saddle River, NJ 07458).
