With sadness, we share the passing of William Gillis (Hilton Head Island, South Carolina). William, born on August 1, 1945, passed away on July 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Gillis and Awa Gillis; and his sisters, Harriet Bradley and Helen Gillis. He is survived by: his wife Bobbi; his daughters, Elizabeth Wann (Toby), Ashley Renner (Brent) and Allison Brownlow (Ben); his grandchildren, Ava, Davis, Amelia, Thomas and Reynolds; and his siblings, Glenda Lewis, Tom Gillis and Lisa Kalevas.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Habitat for Humanity of Memphis, TN or Deep Well Project on Hilton Head Island, SC.
