She was predeceased by: her parents, Col. B. William Saurel and Leora E. Saurel. She is survived by: her sister Denise Rubin (Richard) of York Harbor, Maine; and her children, Dr. Scott Israel (Mary Samuels) of Portland, Dr. Paul Israel (Karen) of Huntsville, Alabama and Ellen Morrison (David) of Wellesley, Massachusetts. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church.
