She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph C. Parkes and Margaret K. Parkes; her son Barry Ford (Denise Ford); and her husband Chuck Ford. She is survived by: her children, Alex, Hilary Wisniewski, Leo, Ezekiel, Erika Hart, Daisy, Fitzgerald, Mitchell and Michael Ford (Helen); her grandchildren, Kristin Hackett, Elliott, Oliver, Kyle (Kristyn) and Mark Ford (Stephanie); her sons, Jack and Pete; and her siblings, Tom, Richard and Debbie. She is also survived by her two sons, ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Spring Island Trust (an organization involved in conversation in the Lowcountry).
