It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carolyn Brown of Hodges, South Carolina, born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on December 22, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Lee Hall and Luria Holbert Hall; her husband Thomas Russell Brown; and her siblings, Dupree Hall, Frances Hall Weaver, Ruth Hall Smith, Joanne Hall Simpson and Linda Hall Adams.
She is survived by: her children, Dwana Mackie (Ed) of Hodges, Donna JoDella Pressley (Tim) of Hodges, Kelly May (Robert) of Ozark, AL and Tim Brown of Greenwood; and her sister Kay Hall Boswell of Ninety Six. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
