He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean of Morgan Road; his children, Scott and Edwina Hatcher of Hodges; his grandchildren, Kalen Hatcher Mathis (Nick) of Hodges, Chelsea Hatcher Smith (Daniel) of Waterloo and Max Edward Hatcher (Melanie) of Honea Path; and his great grandchildren, Ember Sage Smith, Jensen Cade Mathis and Anston Mack Smith.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church (5551 SC-252, Ware Shoals, SC 29692). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
