He was predeceased by: his parents, James Robert and Annie Jo McKerley Alexander; and his sister Freida Crawford. He is survived by: his wife Donna Alexander; his children, John Alexander Jr. of Ninety Six and Leisa Reynolds of Greenwood; his stepchildren, Phillip Trotter of Greenwood and Kimberly Rowe of Hodges; and his siblings, James "Robbie" Alexander of Greenwood, Jeffery Alexander of Ninety Six, Martha Roberts of Ninety Six and Shirley Partain of Ninety Six. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
