He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie and Mary B. Thomas; and his sister Patricia Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Faye Wrenn Thomas; his children, Gene Thomas, Jr. (Liz) of Hodges and Sheliah Mauldin of Six Mile; his grandchildren, Wright, Carson Mauldin (Callie), Abie Todd (Jack) and John Baker; his great grandchild Makenna Faye Mauldin; and his close friends, Pam and Connie.
