He was predeceased by: his parents, Lila Mae Dunlap and Leonard H. Davis; his brother Jimmy McCarthy; and his sister-in-law Jamie McCarthy. He is survived by: his wife Vicki Davis; his brother Jerry Davis (Linda); and his children, David Davis, Rich Gause (Melody), Terry Gause (Pamela Cox), Heath Davis (Dottie), LeeAnn Kunkle (Mike) and Brandon Davis (April). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Blyth Funeral Home (1425 Montague Ave Ext, Greenwood, SC 29649). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Harris Baptist Church (300 Center St, Greenwood, SC 29649).
