She was predeceased by: her parents, Mack C. Padgett and Ellen Inez Berry Padgett; her children, Judy Ellen Collins and Lawrence Ray Collins; and her husband Melvin Adkins.
She is survived by: her former husband Robert E. Collins, Sr.; her children, Robert E. Collins, Jr. (Wanda) of Summerville and Elizabeth Ann Collins McCaskey (Maurice) of Holly Hill; her grandchildren, Maurice McCaskey (Alicia) and Kayla Matthews (Joshua); her great grandchildren, Xavier, Zelda McCaskey, Ian and Luna Matthews; and her former husband Ted Hudson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Avinger Funeral Home (2274 Eutaw Rd, Holly Hill, SC 29059). A burial will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
