He was predeceased by : his parents, Fred A. Clark and Fannie Dailey Clark; and his brothers, F. Evans Clarke, Neville B. Clarke and Arden S. Clark.

He is survived by : his husband John Clarkin; his son Kinney Clark (Susan); his grandchildren, Samuel and Nelvia Clark of Cranford, NJ; his son James Clark (Dorraine) of Belton, SC; his sister Patricia Clark Loveland of Virginia Beach, VA; his sisters-in-law, Jackie Clark and Terry Clarkin; and his niece Megan Clarkin of John's Island, SC..

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be directed to the Parkinsons Foundation, https://www.parkinson.org.
