She was predeceased by: her husband Roman J. Chupp; and her parents, Benjamin Troyer and Mattie Erb Troyer. She is survived by: her children, Vernon Chupp of Due West, SC, Darrel Chupp (Dorothy) of Bonners Ferry, ID, Katie Ann Brownlow of Honea Path, SC, Anna Mae Hershberger of Delta, CO and Mary Ellen Lawson of Honea Path, SC; and her sister Katie Troyer. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, thirty-eight great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Whispering Pines Mennonite Church (7085 SC-20, Honea Path, SC 29654). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at the Whispering Pines Mennonite Church Cemetery (7085 SC-20, Honea Path, SC 29654).
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests all memorials in memory of Mrs. Chupp be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
