He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Edgar and Vera Arnold Navey; his son Alfred Scott Navey; and his siblings, Elizabeth "Lib" Monteith, Benjamin "Ben" Edgar Navey, Darrell Cornish Navey, Eugene "Gene" Carlo Navey and Gerald Wayne Navey.

He is survived by: his children, Cindy Thompson (Brad), Michelle Willis (Tim), Harold Hatcher (Kathy), Arnold Navey, Jr. (Debra), Rodney Navey (Donna), Kevin Navey (Melissa) and Douglas Navey. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
