He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Junior and Sarah Hughes Gambrell; his son Chris Gambrell; his siblings, Mike Gambrell and Sheila Fountain; and his grandson Austin Gambrell.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Faye Lollis Gambrell of Mitchell St; his daughter Amanda Darby (Chad) of Honea Path; his grandchildren, Taylor Black, Peyton Black, Madison Knight, Morgan Knight, Aiden Knight, Hailey Darby, Cody Darby and Kinsley Darby; and his great grandchildren, Blakelyn and Dawson Darby.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Donalds Church of God (335 W Main St, Donalds, SC 29638).
