In the vast expanse of eternity, Avalene shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Avalene farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar King and Odie Mae Garrett King; her children, Dusty Ashley and Tammy Riddle; and her grandson Dustin Ashley.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Abby Merritt (Jamie), Hollie Whitfield (John) and Ashton Sea Ashley; her great grandchildren, Bella Gilliam, Mason Merritt and Waylon Whitfield; and her friend Tonya Smith.
