She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Black, Jr.; her parents, James Claude Mattison, Sr. and Willie Mae Crisswell Mattison; and her siblings, Rufus Mattison, James Mattison, Jr., Broadus Mattison, Marvin Mattison and Evelyn Mattison Wright.
She is survived by: her children, Jerome Black of Tuscaloosa, AL, Harvey Eugene Black of Honea Path, SC and Sandi Michelle Norris (Terrell) of Anderson, SC; and her brother Johnny Edgar Mattison of Honea Path, SC. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, many relatives, and friends.
