He is survived by: his wife Sarah Lynn Knapp-Birchmore of Honea Path; his children, Zachary Koon (Chelsea Wood) of Anderson, Nicholas Craig Birchmore of Honea Path, Samantha Koon of Greenville, Lillianne Birchmore of Honea Path and Iva Birchmore of Honea Path; his brother Duane Birchmore (Melanie) of Union; his grandchildren, Shane Wood, Cirilla Koon, Olivia Koon and Evan Koon; his nephew Thad Birchmore; and his niece Caroline Birchmore.
